L’Oreal True Match Foundation – £9.99
The L’Oreal True Match Foundation has been around for a while now and when I was in Superdrug a few weeks ago I thought I would finally pick it up and give it a whirl after seeing many bloggers rave about how good it was. I have never owned a foundation by L’Oreal before, I usually stick to what I know from Rimmel or Bourjois but when I saw this on the stand, I thought, why not?
The L’Oreal True Match Foundation comes in 23 shades that are said to perfectly match your skin tone and texture. I picked up C1 Rose Ivory which is their lightest cool shade and it does indeed perfectly match up to my pale skin! This foundation is super blendable, long lasting and gives excellent light to medium coverage, the perfect everyday foundation. I find that 2-3 pumps onto my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush gives the right amount of coverage that I like. The only downside is that it tends to cling to the dry patches on my skin however I’m yet to find a foundation that doesn’t.
I was recently considering splurging on a high end foundation but for now I think I’ve found a new favourite! It was well worth going out of my comfort zone and trying this foundation from a brand I hadn’t tried foundations from before. This is also said to be very similar to the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation which I might just have to try if I do decide to buy a more expensive foundation in the future!
Have you tried the L’Oreal True Match Foundation? Do you like it?
