I’ve never ever worn lip liner and I didn’t ever think I would. I just didn’t see the appeal. Recently however, I’ve been converted. In the last year, everyone has gone crazy for fuller, plumper lips thanks to Kylie Jenner. I started seeing reviews and photos of this lip liner by Rimmel pretty much everywhere and it looked so stunning on the lips, so of course I wanted it then. It was sold out everywhere though, I could never find it until a few weeks ago. There it was on the Rimmel stand in Superdrug and of course I bought it…
East End Snob is a lovely warm rosy pink shade and has quickly become a staple in my make up bag, I’ve been wearing it a lot. The formula is soft, easy to apply as it doesn’t drag and has a lovely matte finish that isn’t too drying at all. If you want to achieve fuller, plumper lips this is a great starting point for a liner newbie like myself. It’s cheap, lasts well, would suit most skin tones, doesn’t look too overdone and does the job perfectly.
The lip liner itself is a twist up pencil, so there is no need for sharpening! Always a bonus. However there is a downside to this, as the liner is so thin if you twist it too much it is prone to snapping. I broke it twice the other day. Gutted. So you need to be careful when applying this, too much pressure when applying can also cause it to snap.
East End Snob looks stunning on its own or paired with a lipstick. I find that Creme Cup by MAC goes so well with this lip liner, it is my favourite combination and I love to wear them both together.
Now that I’ve been well and truly converted into a lip liner lover I’m definitely going to try out some more from Rimmel’s Exaggerate range. Currently there are 5 shades in this range and I have to say I love the look of Red Diva.
Have you tried East End Snob or other Rimmel Lip Liners?
