Product Empties #2

Product empties

Back in July, I shared my first ever Product Empties post. As I said back then, these are one of my favourite posts to read as I think it gives a good indication of what products you’ve loved and that have worked and performed well for you. These products have been sitting in a box in my bathroom for a fair while so I thought it was about time I did another empties post so they can finally be chucked away! This time round, it’s mainly all skincare products featured as they tend to be the only things I can finish.

Product empties

I’ll start with micellar waters as I’ve finished a few. I’ve finished up both my ‘mini’ Bioderma Sensibio H20 bottles. This is my favourite micellar water that I’ve tried and surprisingly the 100ml lasts a really long time! I find this is really gentle on my sensitive, dry skin and makes my skin feel refreshed and clean. Another micellar water I’ve used up is the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, I haven’t used this in a few months now however it’s a great budget version if you can’t really justify £10.20 on the 250ml Bioderma (although the 100ml is £4.80). I do find this can sometimes leave my skin a little irritated with a slight tingling sensation but other than that it’s a really good Bioderma dupe.

A product I was really upset about finishing was my little Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Oil. This is a multipurpose oil for use on the face, body and hair however I only used it as a facial oil after my morning cleanse as it’s lightweight, non greasy and made my skin feel soft and amazing! I’ll definitely be buying the full size when I can.

I’ve finished up two serums from Benefit and Caudalie. The Benefit Instant Comeback was my favourite serum until I got the Caudalie Vinoperfect Serum. They are both very similar formulas, both extremely lightweight and ‘watery’. However, the Benefit one is pipped to the post by the Caudalie one as it is a lot better at making my skin feel and look good.

This little tube of Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish was my first and definitely not the last! This has quickly become my favourite cleanser. This is a hot cloth cleanser, you massage into dry skin then polish off with a muslin cloth. It’s so quick and to use that there is never an excuse not to give your skin a good cleanse with this! No matter how tired you may be and reaching for micellar water may seem easier.. It’s actually a lot quicker to cleanse with Cleanse & Polish!

The last skincare item is the Vitamin E Hydrating Toner from The Body Shop.. which I feel like I’ve had forever! And the bottle looks like it has been around forever too. This leaves skin hydrated, soft and supple. I’m definitely going to purchase this again when I run out of my current one from No7.

On to body care and my favourite products from Soap & Glory! I absolutely love the sugar crush scent so it’s no surprise that I adore the Sugar Crush Body Scrub & Body Wash. They both make my skin feel amazing and not to mention that beautiful scent, it’s heavenly. I need the body spray!! I’ll definitely repurchase these once all of my ridiculous amount of samples I have run out.

Lastly we have the Balance Me Revitalising Hand and Body Wash which I used as soap in my bathroom. I often find soap can really dry out my hands however this keeps them hydrated and soft throughout the day meaning I rarely needed to reach for my hand cream. A really nice product!

Now it’s time to chuck all these products away..

What products have you finished up recently?
