In last months post, I said that it would be the last box from Look Fantastic I buy for some time due to having so many samples stored in boxes in my room and bathroom. However, Look Fantastic never cancelled my subscription (that I accidentally signed up for) when I emailed and asked them to so I ended up with this box on my doorstep and well, I couldn’t send it back when I knew what goodies were inside could I? This month’s is the last of 3 limited edition boxes that have this stunning design featured on them and this months is worth £80 and in my opinion the best Look Fantastic box in some time..
I was so happy to see another Wet Brush Squirts included this month! This was included in a past box and has quickly become my favourite brush to use especially on wet hair. It effortlessly detangles wet and even dry hair whilst providing comfort and it doesn’t feel like your damaging your hair by brushing it when its wet!
Standing out from the rest were these Eylure Exaggerate 156 False Eyelashes. I’m not big on false eyelashes as I’m just useless at applying them but hopefully it’ll be a little easier with these as I really like the look of them. They are thick with delicate tips and are said to give a ‘deep but diffused look’.
Back in August, Eve Lom’s popular balm cleanser was featured and I was over the moon as I had wanted to try it for a long time and it’s now become a firm favourite in my skincare routine. This time it’s the Eve Lom Morning Time Cleanser which is a little different from the other. Firstly, it’s still a balm however you leave it on for two minutes before rinsing off with water.. Ideally this should be used in the morning in conjunction with the original balm cleanser in the evening! The Morning Time cleanser is said to decongest and nourish tired skin leaving it exfoliated, soft and brightened making it perfect for the morning cleanse!
I’ve always wanted to try Molton Brown products so I was excited to see a body wash included this month. The Molton Brown Coco & Sandalwood Body Wash smells sooooo good! The scent is filipino coconut fruit extract combined with warming sandalwood and it just smells really fresh, I’m not sure I want to use it because it smells so darn good. This body wash is said to leave skin feeling silky soft! Lovely.
Codage Paris was only last featured back in September’s birthday box with the Creme Commante Scrubbing Cream which I’m still yet to try, oops! (See too many samples!) But I’ll definitely be trying this months offering – The Eclat & Energie serum. This is a serum specially formulated for tired dull skin to help banish fatigue and ageing thanks to it’s powerful blend of ingredients.
The only make up item is from Lord & Berry this month and it’s perfect for the festive season. The Lord & Berry Paillettes Sparkle Eye pencil is a black eye liner infused with silver glitter and it’s so pretty! It’s subtle but the glitter does show up, it’s not a fad in any way. It has highly pigmented rich colour with ultimate definition. The perfect party eye liner!
This month’s box is still available for £15 and free postage here. Subscriptions also available.
