Cleansers On Rotation

Cleansers On Rotation; Bioderma; Eve Lom; Liz Earle; REN

Cleansing is one of the most important parts of our skincare routines. It removes make up, dirt and grime that can build up throughout the day. It also creates a base for the rest of your skincare routine and allows for other products to work properly because after all, it’s useless using toners, oils, serums etc on a dirty face! Since I started blogging a year ago, I’ve really got into skincare and have built up quite the collection of cleansers, it’s quite silly how many I have sitting in boxes in my bathroom waiting to be used (I blame subscription beauty boxes, mainly!). However, I have a few favourites I’m constantly rotating between sitting on my skincare shelf..

Cleansers On Rotation; Bioderma; Eve Lom; Liz Earle; REN

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish
This cleanser is basically my holy grail, my most used cleanser. Ideally, I like to use this in the mornings as it’s cooling on the skin, a great way to wake myself up. However, it is great at removing make up including stubborn mascara so I do often use it in the evenings too. This cleanser is so rich and creamy, it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth, it’s no wonder it’s won so many awards! Ingredients include Rosemary and Chamomile.

REN Rosa Centifolia
This is a fairly new addition but it’s quickly become a favourite! Very similar to Cleanse & Polish in that it’s super rich and creamy and is also a hot cloth cleanser. First impressions of this cleanser are good, it leaves my skin hydrated, smooth and radiant without that tight, dry feeling. This cleanser smells beautiful too! Ingredients include Rosa Damascena Flower Water and Cocoa Seed Butter.

Eve Lom Cleanser
I tend to use balm cleansers like this one from Eve Lom in the evenings to remove make up, especially if I’m wearing a lot of it or if my skin is feeling a little dry and congested. I’m not a huge fan of that greasy feeling so I do tend to reach for my cream cleansers more often but I do love this balm cleanser as my skin feels so hydrated, clean and nourished after use. Ingredients include Eucalyptus and Clove Leaf Oil.

Eve Lom Morning Time Cleanser
Another cleanser from Eve Lom and funnily enough I’ve never used this in the morning. This is a quick, easy to use gentle cleanser with no need for a muslin cloth, great if you’re feeling lazy or in a rush (perfect for morning, I suppose!) as you can just rinse off with water. Very similar to the original Eve Lom cleanser and contains the same signature blend of plant oils and leaves the skin decongested, exfoliated and toned whilst pores are visibly reduced and collagen production is boosted. Ingredients include Sunflower seed oil and Carrot root extract.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O
Since discovering micellar waters, I honestly couldn’t live without them. There was a time recently when I had 3 on the go.. Currently, I only have this bottle of Bioderma, but it’s running low so another purchase needs to be made, asap. Bioderma is probably my favourite, followed by Garnier and I really want to give L’Oreal’s version a try. They’re so good for when you’re feeling lazy/tired and can’t be bothered to stand at your sink for ages massaging cleanser onto your skin. A few wipes on a few cotton pads and you’re done, make up is off and you’re ready for the rest of your skincare routine.

What’s your favourite cleanser?

  • I love the Liz Earle cleanser! But micellar water is amazing for lazy days – been meaning to buy the Bioderma one to compare it with the Garnier one!

I would love if you could check out my blog!
