Bourjois are one of my favourite budget beauty brands. I’ve never not liked a product and I especially love their foundations. At the end of January, Bourjois launched a new foundation, City Radiance and seeing as I needed a new foundation, I decided to pick it up and give it a try. After all, as a huge fan of a glowing base to brighten my dull skin, I’m willing to try anything that claims to offer a radiance boost!
The Bourjois City Radiance Foundation contains an anti-dullness formula with radiance boosting pigments to even out complexion for a natural, fresh looking and glowing complexion. Containing SPF30 and an anti-pollution screen this protects skin from pollution, UVA and UVB.
Like most Bourjois foundations, there isn’t a great range of shades available, currently there are only 6 on offer so quite limited and are very yellow toned. However, I find the lightest, 01 Rose Ivory a great match for my ghostly pale complexion. It has buildable, sheer to medium coverage so is great for those good skin days or even as a summer base, I will be getting a lot of wear out of this in the warmer months, that’s for certain. It’s light, comfortable and hydrating on my dry skin and doesn’t cling to any dry patches, it basically feels like another moisturiser on top. The result is dewy, fresh, glowing skin, it’s incredible! I have worn this for about 5-6 hours so far and it has not budged, so it has great lasting power.
I love when a foundation comes in squeezy tube packaging. I don’t know why really, I just prefer it to bottles. Perhaps, because it’s more travel friendly. The Bourjois City Radiance packaging is quite cute and has one side in English and one in French and contains 30ml of product. At least with tube packaging, you know you’ll get to use all 30ml of it!
Bourjois also released a concealer along with this foundation, the Radiance Reveal Concealer. I’m dying to try this but as I picked up two other concealers when purchasing City Radiance, I decided against it. It claims to conceal imperfections, dark circles and puffiness and contains Mont Blanc glacier water and hyaluronic acids. Sounds amazing!
If you have dry, dull and dehydrated skin, I definitely recommend you try out the City Radiance foundation!
City Radiance is currently available to purchase for £9.99 at Boots and Superdrug.
