For us pale skin gals, it can be quite tough finding a blush that won’t be too bright and clownish against our uber ghostly white skin. I try and avoid any blush that is too pigmented and opt for the soft, subtle ones that give just a nice hint of colour without making you look too washed out and overdone! In my collection, I have 3 favourites that can do no wrong. They’re light, foolproof and look really flattering on pale skin.
H&M Cream Blusher in Dusty Rose | Sold out, Other shades available | Link
Possibly my favourite blusher right now or in fact, ever. It’s so ruddy beautiful and the cream formula is great for my dry skin. As the name would suggest, it’s a stunning dusty rose shade. This is probably one of the more pigmented blushes in my collection however with a light hand, it can look lovely, subtle and natural on the skin. It really makes the skin glow and awakens dull, pale skin. This is a great one for the winter months.
Clinique Cheek Pop in Melon Pop | £17.00 | Link
The award for most beautiful blush design has to go to the Clinique Cheek Pops. I absolutely adore the daisy print so much so it often puts me off using because I don’t want to ruin it! However, I do and I need to get my hands on more of these, it’s such a gorgeous, winning formula. Melon Pop, a peachy coral is a lovely shade for the summer months, it’s gorgeously muted and natural adding just a hint of colour for, as Clinique say, a ‘just pinched’ look.
MaxFactor Creme Puff Blush in Lovely Pink | £8.99 | Link
I have mentioned this beautiful blush by MaxFactor so many times here on the blog and there’s a good reason for that, it’s pretty to look at and it’s beautiful on the skin. I love the marble effect design and the shade Lovely Pink is so beautifully delicate and subtle. Lovely Pink really is lovely.
