A Mini Sephora Haul.

Sephora Mini Haul

Hey everyone! Long time no blog post. I’ve missed blogging so much, I’m glad to be back. So, where have I been? Well, in October, I started my degree at The Open University! And although it’s only part-time, it does take up a huge amount of my time, especially when the dreaded assignments are due. But I’m hopefully back to posting regularly…

Last month, my Mum took me on holiday to Tenerife for a much-needed break (it was my Christmas present too!). I was over the moon when I found out there was a Sephora in Tenerife, so I planned a whole day out in Santa Cruz just so I had the opportunity to go and do a little first time Sephora shopping.🙊

If you’re ever in Tenerife and want to visit, you’ll find it on the first floor at the ‘El Corte Ingles’ department store in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and better yet, it’s right opposite the bus station which has buses to and from literally anywhere on the island. The only disappointing thing is that the Sephora in the department store is basically just a concession, so it’s a very limited range of products so a trip to an American Sephora is still a must!

OK, I’ll stop rambling on now and show you what I picked up…

I’ve seen a lot of talk about Sephora’s face masks and I wanted to give them a go, unfortunately, they were nowhere to be seen. However, I did pick up a few other types. In the winter, my lips can get super dry so I thought I’d try the lip masks in both Shea and Rose. The rose lip mask moisturises and softens the lips whilst the shea one protects and repairs.

I also picked up a lavender foot mask which sounds really intriguing! I’ve never used a foot mask before and I can’t wait to give it a try. I also bought the charcoal nose strip to try and rid my nose of blackheads.

Now onto the makeup bits! A lot of people have raved about the Sephora cream lip stains so I had to try them because it’s not like I own far too many liquid lipsticks already… I picked up the shades Marvellous mauve, Infinite rose and Dark red. I’ve only worn Infinite Rose so far and it’s the most gorgeous shade, I don’t own anything else like it. These lip stains are silky smooth, glide on to the lips easily and are probably the most long-lasting matte liquid lippies I’ve used yet! If you can get your hands on them, definitely give them a try.

I finally picked up the Kat Von D Lock It Concealer in L3 (fair shell with warm undertone) which probably isn’t the perfect shade for myself but it seems to work. I’ve only used it once and so far so good, it could possibly knock Shape Tape off the number one spot.

Last but not least, I couldn’t resist picking up the Becca Glow on the Go Highlighter Set which features a seriously stunning mini Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter & Spotlight Liquid Highlighter in Opal. I already own Champagne Pop which I love but Opal certainly suits my skin tone better. 😍

(L-R) Becca Opal (Pressed & Liquid), KVD L3, Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Dark Red, Infinite Rose & Marvellous Mauve.
