Out of the four, Milan Fashion Week is probably my favourite or very much on par with Paris.. because let’s be honest, these two fashion weeks show the latest collections from the worlds greatest designers .. For Milan, we have the likes of Prada, Versace & Fendi.. granted though, none of these have made it into my 5 favourites for SS16! I’ll admit this was incredibly hard to choose, whereas London & New York have been pretty easy..

1. Blumarine

Blumarine SS16

I always love Blumarine! The last collection was featured in my Fall 2015 favourites so I’m not surprised I’ve featured them again. The sheer dresses & gowns with sequins, embroidery and embellishment.. it’s just everything I love!

2. Dsquared2

Dsquared2 SS16

Dsquared2’s Spring 2016 collection is probably not to everyones taste.. it is a little ‘out there’. However if like me, you like bold colours & prints then you’ll probably fall in love with this collection too! I would wear each of these dresses given the chance.. if only..

3. Emporio Armani

Emporio Armani SS16

Now this collection is just so pretty! And it’s not just floral dresses and blush coloured tanks and shorts..there are also some fabulous bits for the non-girly girl. A collection for everybody.. well, those who can afford it.

4. Etro

Etro SS16

I’m not usually much of a fan of Etro and their collections, if I’m completely honest past ones have been a bit of an eyesore. However I’m so in love with this collection! Etro have incorporated bold prints into this collection without going too overboard which I feel is what has gone wrong before (here’s an example, eugh!) This Spring 2016 collection is really lovely!

5. Giamba

Giamba SS16

Giamba is a pretty new brand on the scene, first shown at Milan SS15. Created by one of my favourite designers, Giambattista Valli this collection is aimed at the younger fashion audience (think Red Valentino!) Can I just point out the lipstick dungarees!? Oh my god. I’m sure all us beauty addicts will be dying to own a pair.. hopefully a high street brand will do a dupe? Here’s hoping!!

Last week I shared my favourites from NYFW with you so this week it’s time to share my LFW SS16 favourites. I have to admit, London Fashion Week has to be my least favourite out of the 4 each season, I don’t really know why, I just find it a little underwhelming and not as exciting. However there were a few standout shows which I adored…

1. Burberry Prorsum

Burberry Prorsum

To me, the colours featured in the Burberry show definitely seem more suited to an A/W collection, however I really love this entire collection. How stunning is the first dress?

2. David Koma

David Koma

I featured David Koma’s Fall 2015 collection on my last favourites and here he is again for SS16. It’s no surprise really, I always adore his collections. This collection is definitely going to be a red carpet favourite and I predict we’re going to be seeing a lot of it. The 2nd dress is my overall favourite. <3

3. Felder Felder

Felder Felder

This has probably got to be my overall favourite show of LFW SS16. The girly dresses, the shades of apricot, pink and gold.. it’s the perfect spring collection and it is filled with outfits I would actually wear.

4. Julien MacDonald

Julien MacDonald

I’m a huge fan of sequins, embellishment and embroidery so it’s no surprise that I’m always in awe of Julien MacDonald’s craftmanship. Each season, I fall in love with his collections and this SS16 collection was no exception. The details on each outfit are amazing, I especially love the 3rd dress above.

5. Mary Katrantzou

Mary Katrantzou

Look at those prints! Mary Katrantzou is one of my favourite designers, I love her dresses and dream that one day I’ll have at least one in my wardrobe! Although I feel that this could be mistaken as a Peter Pilotto collection (anyone agree?), I adore the bold prints featured and I’m in love with the entire collection.

Back in February this year, I shared my favourite looks from the Fall 2015 shows and I thought I would do it again for Spring 2016. I absolutely love this time of year and looking through all the collections whilst also choosing 5 favourites to share with you all! I’m also thinking of sharing my favourite street style looks from each fashion week too, would you guys like to see that? Without further ado, here are my 5 favourites from NYC..

1. Carolina Herrera

Carolina Herrera Spring 2016

Carolina was featured in my Fall 2015 favourites and it’s no surprise that she’s featured here again. I’m just so in love with this whole collection! I absolutely adore the blush pleated dress, if ever I was lucky enough, this would be something I’d wear. So pretty. We are definitely going to see the stunning crop top and skirt look on the red carpet very soon!

2. Delpozo

Delpozo Spring 2016

Oh my word. I’m absolutely head over heels for this collection. The embellished tulle gown has got to be every girly girls dream dress, it is certainly mine anyway! This whole collection does in fact look like it should be in a fairytale. So dreamy.

3. Badgley Mischka

Badgley Mischka Spring 2016

Badgley Mischka are known for there beautiful evening gowns and there was definitely no shortage of them this Spring 2016 collection. This collection was said to be inspired by the 1950s, although I can’t really see much 1950s influence myself. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see someone wearing a Spring 2016 gown at this weekends Emmy Awards.

4. Cushnie Et Ochs

Cushnie Et Ochs Spring 2016

If you haven’t noticed already, I’m rather fond of pastel hues. Actually I’m probably obsessed with them. So it’s no surprise that I love the Cushnie Et Ochs Spring 2016 Collection. It’s not an entire collection of pastels, black and white feature too however the pastels stand out the most in my opinion. Although this black leather dress with gold zipper detail is gorgeous!

5. Marchesa

Marchesa Spring 2016

Marchesa, in my opinion, make the dreamiest gowns in the world. It is actually my one dream to wear a Marchesa bridal gown for my future wedding, which is so unlikely, but a girl can dream! This collection does feature a few odd looking gowns that make you think ‘Would anyone actually wear this?’ however amongst them are the gorgeous gowns that are the sole reason I love Marchesa. How stunning is the feather detailed bust on the first gown? Beautiful!

What were your favourite shows from #NYFW? Stay tuned for my London favourites…

In about 8 weeks time I will finally be off on holiday to the beautiful Spanish island that is Fuerteventura. It will be my first holiday in 6 years so as you can imagine, I’m pretty excited! One of the things I love most about going abroad (apart from the actual holiday) is the clothes shopping. I don’t know why it’s so exciting but I love it. A trip to Primark is most definitely going to happen for sure, I feel like everyone goes there when they’re about to go on holiday, its the perfect shop! However, I do have a few things I’ve seen online that I would love to get.. I mean look at that swimsuit! How pretty?! I seem to have a thing for scalloped clothing items at the moment. I also adore the ASOS Daisy Sundress, I actually saw it in one of Lily Pebble’s videos and instantly fell in love with it. So so pretty. If any of you have been to Fuerteventura and have any recommendations of what we should do while we’re there then please leave a comment!

Have you been on holiday recently? Where did you go? Or are you off anywhere soon? Let me know in the comments!

Primark is one of my favourites stores but I don’t get to shop in there very often due to the nearest one being about half an hour away however when I’m there I always make sure I pop in and have a look at what they have in store. Last week I had some money left over from my birthday so I decided to have a well overdue spree and pick up some new bits. I got some clothes that would be perfect for my holiday (even if it isn’t until October!) and some that don’t fit me just yet as motivation to keep on working out! Does anyone else do that!? I find it’s a good way to do it if you have a piece of clothing you really love and want to fit in eventually! Anyway enough rambling, if you want to see what I got carry on reading 🙂

First up is this light pink knit cami with a floral crochet hem. This is so pretty and is so me that as soon as I saw it I knew I had to buy it. Even though it’s a knit top its very light so is perfect for summer and for my upcoming holiday. It was only £7.00 so a proper bargain!

This smock dress was the first thing that caught my eye in store. It isn’t something I’d usually go for but something drew me to it and it’s lovely. It has quite a boho look to it and thats what I love, especially the print. Unfortunately it’s quite big on me but I think I could get away with it with a belt maybe. Such a pretty dress for only a tenner!

How pretty are these paisley printed shorts!? This is one clothing item that doesn’t fit me properly yet however does fit me a lot better than first thought… Silly me tried these on the first time and they didn’t come up any further then my knees which I thought was a bit odd until I realised later on that theres a zip! Typical me. These will be absolutely perfect for my holiday and I can’t wait to wear them!

I’ve never been a huge fan of skirts as I’m majorly self conscious. However when I saw this suede skirt I fell in love! It doesn’t fit that well yet but hopefully in time it will. This skirt will look nice in the autumn/winter time with a pair of tights which is the main reason I bought it really.

I was looking around for a top that could go with the skirt and came across this white cami top. I’ve had my eye on tops like these for sometime and have never actually bought one. This cami goes perfectly with the skirt either tucked in or left out. A lovely outfit when put together!

Last but not least we have my typical day to day outfit! I literally live in jeggings and it’s very rare I’ll wear anything else unless it’s super hot and I have to wear something cooler. These jeggings fit like a dream and they were only £7! I love graphic tees and this New York one is no exception. I literally buy anything that has New York on it. It was only £3 which I was actually shocked by, you can tell I don’t get to shop in Primark often!

Primark have some lovely bits in at the moment and I wish I could have bought a lot more but that is the case whenever I go in! I’ll definitely be popping in there before I go to Tenerife in October.
